The air fryer works wonders! I know y'all have heard of people cooking a number of things in the air fryer. These parmesan chicken wings are my newest creation using the air fryer. I hope you enjoy this tasty recipe.
Ingredients:
12 medium sized chicken wings
1/3 cup of grated parmesan
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 tablespoon of lemon pepper seasoning
1/2 tablespoon of all-purpose seasoning (or your favorite seasoning)
Toppings and Dipping Sauce
Ranch dipping sauce (or a sauce of your choosing)
Chopped Scallions to sprinkling on the finished products
Directions:
Step One: In a large bowl, drizzle olive oil over the chicken wings.
Step Two: Add the lemon pepper seasoning and all-purpose seasoning to the bowl of chicken wings. Mix the bowl contents together until the chicken wings are evenly covered in seasoning and olive oil. Let the chicken marinate for 30 minutes in refrigerator. I suggest marinating overnight if you have the time.
Step Three: Place your chicken wings in the air fryer tray. Make sure they are laying flat on the bottom of the tray with little overlap. (depending on the size of your air fryer, you may want to divide your chicken wings into two batches)
Step Four: Cook the wings for 25 minutes on 360F. Tossing the wings every ten minutes. After 20 minutes, turn the Air fryer temperature to 400F and cook for another 5 minutes. (cook additional minutes for desired crispiness)
Step Five: Toss the cooked chicken wings in the grated parmesan while the wings are hot. Sprinkle scallions on top of the wings. ENJOY!!
